TrialWorks Hosting

Lawex Corporation Hosted Services are designed to for offices that are highly mobile and/or have limited infrastructure (no servers/older workstations).  Unlike traditional server environments, in a hosting environment the user connects to a Terminal Server (hosted by Lawex) through Remote Desktop Connection. Once logged on the user has access to applications including TrialWorks, Outlook, Word, and Excel. 

The benefits of such set-up include a worry-free server environment, latest server technologies, data protection, and a fixed IT expense. 

All of the processing and data storage occurs on the server side, which means that the customer is only responsible for keeping a good internet connection and a computer capable of connecting to the RDP server.

Terminal Services provides remote access to a Windows desktop through “thin client” software, allowing the client computer to serve as a terminal emulator. It provides an effective and reliable way to distribute Windows-based programs, providing a single point of installation with multiple users having access to the Windows Server 2003 operating system desktop, where they can run programs, save files, and use network resources as if they were sitting at that computer.
