I really enjoy TrialWorks. I previously had
Junior Partner which went out of business.
TrialWorks surpasses all of my requisites in
case management software. It is user
friendly and easy to organize. I enjoy the
hyperlink and scanning features
tremendously. We are a small law firm with
just myself and my secretary. My secretaries
computer is the server and
I use a laptop. This method is fantastic as
I can take notes on the laptop during
hearings and depositions and the synchronize
it with the server when I return.
Recently I had an interesting situation
wherein the insurance carrier had admitted
liability on a matter. I embedded their
letter into Production Tracker. When they
turned the file over to their attorney, they
either lost the letter or did not forward it
to him. While we were having a settlement
conference, I explained that his client had
already admitted liability. He said he had
no information to that effect. I pulled up
the letter on my computer to show him. We
then entered meaningful discussions on
settlement.
I also want to thank you for the newsletters
that give helpful hints. The service you
provide is much more than just selling
software, but you portray a real interest in
having our business succeed. For this, I am

malpractice, personal injury and product

As you know, our firm specializes in civil
litigation from the defense side. Before we
ever investigated purchasing case management
software, we automated many of our case
related functions. We spent several years
evaluating case management software programs
to find one that would truly make our job
more efficient. We used demo programs from 6
different software manufacturers and never
found one that actually made us more
efficient. We even rejected Trialworks on
our first try. However, we sent emails to

"I am part of a plaintiff's personal injury
firm of 18 attorneys. We do only plaintiff's
personal injury cases - including some
medical mal. We selected TrialWorks as our
case management software, and got it up and
running two months ago. There has been the
inevitable learning curve, but we are very
happy with it. The program was created by a
plaintiff's lawyer turned software engineer,
and was clearly written with the plaintiff's
PI practice in mind. It is written to
integrate seamlessly with the Microsoft
Office suite, and it does so very well. We
had been using an earlier version of Word
for a number of years, so this was fine with
us. Because of the integration between
TrialWorks and the Microsoft Office Suite,
all of the email associated with a client is
tracked in Outlook. There is also a seamless
interface between calendared events in a
specific case and your own Outlook calendar,
complete with reminders, etc. Tasks
integrate as well. The software comes in a
version for smaller firms or solos (in fact,
the version we have is new - it was
originally designed for the smaller firm).
All in all, we are very happy with it.

I have been a Trialworks customer for years.
Overall I have been extremely pleased with
it. Robb and his folks are very knowledgable
and provide good service. You need to
know the following: Scanning every doc eats
up a lot of space. We have had to upgrade
our hard drive several times. Be
ready.Second, it is important that everyone
in your office been on the same version of
Windows. We just went to this in Sept - and
it greatly reduced any glitches.
Third, RAM is critical. I would recommend
Trialworks to anyone. Indeed, we now have
the Trialworks team serve as our IT
department; they do all updates and fix the
inevitable glitches in our entire system (17
users) from Miami. Our bill for tech
services has decreased and so has our
downtime.
